The grafics are great the blurryness is how its suppose to be but i like the little add-ons the game has that you will notice if you played the original and there are alot

Is there any clue as to why the glitches with the animations and sounds weren't fixed. Ass big a company as SE is, you would figure those little tidbits would have been ironed out no?

The graphics were blurry and the game was slow but I got me a Dark Knight which made the game perfect.

I'm definitely thinking of shelling out the extra cash to get this, even though I have the PSX version. I'm pretty sure the PSP version doesn't have anything extra, but the portability is enough for me to want it.

There's a few extras, like the Dark Knight job class, and a few extra special characters this time. Balthier ftw! ^_^

This is indeed great news, but upon further investigating of other articles. It seems like the one for the psp is merely a remake of the original PSONE Final Fantasy Tactics with a few more bang and whizzes. Not like that is entirely a bad thing, FFT portable regardless would rock.

i don't have a psp so to bad

i feel this game is quite overrated, i enjoyed tactics advance moreso than this one. Even then, tactics advance only comes in second to disgaea for me.

This game has raped me so bad. Why is it so hard? First battle I got killed off early so Ramza didn't get to a good level at the start of the game, then the second battle I lost 3 of my 7 people, rendering me with 4, 1 less than the allotted amount. Are there no random/redo battles to train in the game?

A lot of people seem to have trouble in the beginning, possibly because of the lack of jobs. The random battles are initiated by going over a stage that is not a town over and over again until you get sucked into battle. Problem is the enemies are around your level(sometimes higher) and may pose a great threat. Just make sure you know how to play and you can grind really easy; it's fun fighting storyline fights when you're 40+ levels higher than them ;)

People have trouble with it because it's actually challenging. Plus there is an interesting storyline, and amazing cut scenes. It's not like FFTA, or FFTA2 that's all battles, no story and just relentless "Missions".Though this is technically a remake, it's a remake of one of the best games EVER, with beautiful graphics add ons.And again, those cut scenes are freakin' awesome.(I actually prefer the PAL version because they have the accents and sound more realistic.)

i liked this game a lot. my only gripe is that it is a pain to bring in a weak character in order to level them up and gain jobs. this is because the monsters and enemies follow the levels of your best characters. if only they use the levels of the team being used instead of rounding out the lot of them then it would be a bit easier

i would have loved this game, if not for the slow pace that it showed in the beginning.

Does this have Cloud as a character? That was what I was told. I heard this was good and am tempted to buy it. Also I love the title's subtitles. War of Lions, it sounds awesome.

Yes Cloud is an optional character you can get. You can get Luso and Balthier too I think.

I think this game is awesome. Sure it starts out slow in the beginning. But it really is quite difficult at the start. One such level is so near the beginning. You get Ramza, 2 guest characters and 4 regulars - likely the ones that you get at the start. SO DIFFICULT. But it gets easier as you go on. Slightly. And you get to kill lots of time when otherwise you would have NOTHING to do. IMO, definitely worth getting.

This game is definitely one of the best SRPGs. I played it for PS1 back in the day, I can't wait till i get my PSP (hopefully next weekend) to buy/play it. I got Cloud and man did that take forever. I don't remember the game being too difficult when i started, except on that fight where Algus (i think that was his name) betrays you and whatnot, I barely one due to an carefully aimed throw stone command that sent Algus plummeting to his death from attop the tower.

FF Tactics is indeed an very good strategy game, although i must admit that the battle itself doesn't really ask for much strategy to face any enemies/bosses on the game, you DO have to take some time planing on your characters jobs, otherwise you will have only one kind of attack(close-combat, ranged or magical) and no healing, or vice-versa.The difficulty at the beginning goes for the lack of training, since you must go through 2~3 battles with enemies about your level/strength, which demands some strategy from you(which i advise to always band your characters together, avoiding one being "mobbed" by the enemies, since you don't have phoenix down at the beginning) but even so, not that hard, believe me, there are tougher battles ahead, those who already played the game know of what i talk about! ^^And i must say, i really liked the character job customization! ^^You can make an entire team of overpowered characters, even stronger than the history characters! ^^

Enter the Deep Dungeon. And cry. I gave up on level 3. My stupid leet item finder sucks. Though my Ramza was set to Dark Knight. Well it certainly isn't fun searching for treasure. Stupid Terrace and Phillip.
