I believe that I would buy a cheap psp on ebay for the sole reason of playing a revamped version of Tactics. Part of the reason for this is the addition of multiplayer capabilities into the otherwise pretty standard game type. Supposedly this multiplayer section will include a customizable rule system much like the judge system of FFT Advance, but I haven't seen any official confirmation of this, so please research it yourself before doing anything drastic. Also, there are a large number of new and remade rpgs coming to the PSP soon, not limited to Breath of Fire 3, Final Fantasy 1, Final Fantasy 2, Crisis Core, Star Ocean, and possibly Star Ocean: The Second Story.

Yeah that's what this thread is all about. ^_^Anyway, I saw the game being sold in Funan IT Mall. Of course still the Jap version, but the box is very very pretty! I'm excited for the English release. FFT is very popular too, there were lots of people looking at the game in the store I went to.Can I ask if there will be FF Tactics on PSP?????

isn't the games offical name called "THE LION WAR," y'know after the whole first game's story line was based of THE LION WAR? just saying

Yup, this one is gonna be a definite buy for me. I never played final fantasy tactics on the ps1 but always wanted to. Now there are better graphics and stuff so I'm really excited.

I think this game is probably one of the very few psp titles that attracts customers. 100% must buy *drools.

Final Fantasy Tactics will always be the masterpiece that it was when it first came out. It is a shame that the new PSP version will not include any big changes or add-ons or upgrades. I believe it'll still be fun to have around in your pocket whenever you want to turn it on and play.

I think the Sony announced that the PSP version of the FFT is going to have multiplayer capabilities over the wifi. There's a FAQ on gamefaqs about the multiplayer since it's already been released in Japan and some people have it imported.

This game is arguably the best damn FF game made thanks to Matsuno's godly direction and Sakamoto's fitting music. Excellent plot throughout 4/5 of the game and top gameplay system. I didn't get the PSP game so I don't know if they cleaned up any towards the end but I love the original on PS1 pricing it as 'my precious' 
. Delita is as great a villain as Kefka and Kuja easily forming my top three FF villain. Awesome game and top of my fave FF game list. 'Altima the hard body' theme for the final confrontation is brilliant. I don't see why I should fork out for this again for PSP since I have original but I recommend this game to anyone that has PSP that hasn't played the original.

My second favorite game of all time, outside of Disgaea. Can't wait till it comes out. I'll definitely be picking it up.I hope they've fixed all the grammar mistakes that they had when it was released on PS1. It was hardly even cogent at certain points.

FFT was a good game, minor flaws but overall a good game. I might buy a psp for this game (and others) if it has enough stuff added to it.

You probably willn't like this then.I put 300+ hours into Tactics Advance, and I prefer that to regular tactics.Its more of a speed thing....The game is never really slow, where in Tactics, there is a lot of talking, slower combat, etc.Also, the sprites are hella nicer in Advance.Well i only heard of final fntasy tactics advanced lol, but this game sounds pretty fun, and strategy based games are kind amy thing, so i'm looking forward to this game

o wow, they recreated some of the events from FFT and made it CG. if i was to get a psp in the future this game would b the reason why. i love FFT
