ocarina of time is way better, more side quests, cooler temples. Better Dimension changing theme (turning time is way cool than going into the twilight)

I enjoyed TP more, the story is more involving and the gameplay is great...OoT is great too, but TP seems to have taken all the good from OoT and improved upon it.

Well , I've finished both games, and I have to say... *spoilers*The lack of storyline or charecter development with every charecter besides Midina was quite dissapointing. Although the final boss fights were a lot of fun*end spoilers*Still I think overall OoT was better (its also slightly longer then TP), and if anything, it had a much greater impact then TP has

Bleh, are you kidding me?You can't compare OoT to TP...OoT brought inovation and something, figuritively speaking, that noone had ever seen before. It wins by default.I love TP but you can't compare it to OoT.This is nonsense.

I liked Twilight Princess better - but then again, this is coming from someone who didn't like OoT that much. *gasp*I will admit that Ocarina of Time had much more memorable music though. Everyone can remember Minuet of Forest and Nocturne of Shadow but I'm not even sure what I was playing half of the time with the howling stones when they weren't ocarina songs.

I tend to agree. Ocarina of Time showed that Zelda could make the transition from 2D to 3D while retaining the Zelda feel. It'll be remembered just for that, for a long, long time.Twilight Princess is a better game. It is way more polished. More built-in minigames (sumowrestling, flying, snowboarding and whatnot), and generally better paced. Actually, I can't quite put my finger on it -- Twilight Princess manages to captivate me from start to finish, where Ocarina at times bored me.TP is criticized to be "too much like OoT". Or that it lacks innovation. I think it's a bit unfair, as we won't see such a huge transition as was the case from 2D to 3D again.

i prefer the N64 version.twighlight princess was great and all, but minus the gfx the story really feels TOO the same. But i beat zelda nes in 1988. then beat the second quest in 1998. lol. anyways, i really think that being blocked in all the time, and not really open enviorments like say, oblivion, I might feel a lil better about the game. the wii is sweet, but zelda really wasnt made for next gen, as much as last gen. I actually prefer the minish cap to Twighlight Princess.

Although OoT has so many memories, T.P is better in my opinion, purely because of the sense of speed as you ride round Hyrule field on Epona, swiping moblins as you thunder past. A fantastic feeling, especially compared to Epona in OoT. Has anyone gone back and played it, and seen how slow she feels?

You must be the only person around the world who thinks Twilight Princess' story wasn't amazing. And how can you say Ocarina of Time was longer than Twilight Princess!? That's totally false, if you're going to criticize TP at least do it with things that aren't false.

oot was so much better the simplicity in the game was magical, it was easy but at the same time hard, and it was completly original, there was not a game out at the time like it, but tp on the other hand was more indepth, but seemed so repetitive, and tried to much to be lyk oot

Twilight Princess hands down is alot better. But there are so many things that I liked about Ocarina of Time better than I did Twilight Princess. Also Ocarina of Time took me a couple of months to beat. Twilight Princess took me a few days. So I guess I'm gonna have to go with Ocarina of Time. Mainly because its a classic that basically revolutionized Zelda.

OoT is TP daddy. In fact TP coppies alot of things from OoT. But the plot from OoT, the difficulties, the side quests and all is much more fun and difficult than TP, Tp is more fore kiddies.

obviosly twilight princess coz its more new :(

Uhhhh, wind waker was a HUGE letdown imo, and majora's mask doesn't compare to the OoT. I mean, TP is better, but not simply because of it is newer, but because of the new gameplay, dark storyline, and vast adventure.

twilight princess was an overall better game, but it was pretty easy to beat. the boss battles could have been a bit more challenging, and most of the puzzles were really simple to figure out.
