Bought both my DS's at the only place I go to for all of my gaming hardware needs - Gamestop. The first was brand new, the second was bought used.

I baught one for my girlfriend, from walmart when it was on sale, but then later after the sale ended i saw how much fun it was and wanted to play with her, so i found one of kijiji and met the person to buy it used, came with some games and a chip too which was awsome

I bought my first DS Phat at Walmart, my first DS Lite at Gamestop, and my second (current) DS Lite at Toys R Us. I like to mix things up.

I got mine off play-asia so apparently it came from Japan, even though it was shipped from China to Australia

I am actually very fortunate in that I own my own toy store and one of my suppliers is Nintendo, so I was able to order my DSi XL from them and I got the bronze one because it is so pretty! 
Also I got mine 3 days before Aussie release date! yay!

I've got quite a few DS's.. first one, from the local toys r us it was the PHAT dssecond when the lite came out, my girlfriend bought it again at the toys r usthen the third, DSi got that at my local futureshop.. which is like a bestbuy

hong kong, they gave me a free like us-friendly charger, since i was just in hk for vacation.and they also threw in a free crystal case : )

@PinkaliciousYou are so lucky TT____TT---I bought my DS from GameSpot in the US. It was expensive. (Or maybe I bought mine from Target, I don't really remember.) I miss those day when the shelves were filled with DS games.
