I don't really understand... Do you mean repearting as in keep makeing new games or useing the same sprites.I belive that some of the new pokemon are looking too alike.

Well besides the Pokemon, yes. You basically just do the same things over and over again but in a different area. At least they are adding new stuff though, like Pokemon contests, but those aren't really important.

yep its kinda looks repeating in the games as well as in the animes . mainly in the animes. lol team rocket should get more pokemons in their team or else, atleast pls introduce a new villain gang instead of team rocket. they always lose and fly away.

Actually it is kinda repeating yes, but that still doesnt take the fun out of it. I agree with barath though on the animes, Team Rocket really is bad. But they're adding lots of new things to D/P, so they can consider it a 'new' game lol.

i think the pokemon series are gettin repeated because its like they are not even goin on the adventure and look as thought the series never end with some stupid conflict on each eposide and then on the next eposide it is not even the same problem anymore!!! :'( :gay2:

It is repeating itself. It needs to do something different or the franchise will die off soon

I, too think it gets repeated, but the new additions to pokemon, minigames, and regions seem to be making the series somewhat fresher. Although, it gets kind of dry after beating it and getting ALMOST every pokemon.

Sad to say, but the only thing that gets changed is the number of pokemon, the gameplay is still the same (Catch, Use pokemon, evolve and catch some more...) No new innovations have been added to the game in recent years

The gameplay remains completely the same, as previously stated, but I notice that as the series goes on they are trying to spice it up with new areas, battle towers, better graphics, etc. They even went as far as to make playing pokemon an educational experience. It is still a bit redundant. The pokemon keep changing, but the games stay the same. Let's hope Diamond and Pearl bring some salvation to the series. And besides, Pokemon Coliseum added a much-needed change to the series.

yes they are , whether it's new pokemon or revamps of the older gbc and gb versions , but even so , newer maps and characters are a good thing , but there is only so much you can do to a game before you get the same oldgame play , but you can say that of any genre , just like the card games , driving games , shooters , same thing repackaged . it's all down to taste and who wants it still .

the basic concept and game play has stayed the same ever since the days of red and blue. At least they are always adding new features to the games
