no they shouldnt really. there a good thing to play when your stuck inside while its raining. i beat the whole pokemon blue in 10 mins cause i was so bored. ( i was using visual boy advance so it sped things up =) )

But if you don't let the storyline be similar how would you make the story? Like always in a game, there must be a beginning, and an end, so no, I don't think they repeating themselves, even if they are, they add new things so they can't possibly be repeating themselves completely.

They shouldn't and I doubt they will, because it is still enjoyed by a lot of people and is still well known, but I would like them to make a different style~ like what Dark Dragon says, they should make more different styles, maybe more Pokemon Puzzle challenge, Dungeon Mission etc~

If they could somehow connect all 4 of the worlds (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh), and possibly some of the other places in past Pokemon games (eg: Sevii Islands), I think it would make a new pokemon game worth buying

this is me first post on this site and so i might be quoteing or summat. anyway i loved red and blue when i was younger and havent played them since. i think that the original 151 pokemon was enough to remember but now theres loads....... gonna get emerald off this site and try it out any tips for it???

Same here i loved red/blue when it came out. Bought yellow just for pikachu too haha but after completing gold/silver i stopped cuz i just felt the series became repetitive

As long as they make the Pokemon more like the original 150, I'll completely support Nintendo making new Pokemon games. But if the Pokemon continue to look like the last two gens and all the excess animations like the suing of TM's etc, then they should completely stop.

Hey Pokemon has only been around for like 12 years. Thats nothing compared to Mario and Zelda. They should keep making them until noone buys them anymore.

I dunno yet as I haven't played Diamond or Pearl. I don't think they should stop making them, maybe they should just spice it up some. Instead of new moves, maybe MORE moves allowed for the characters. I heard that even in Diamond and Pearl you still get just 4 moves...

The way I see it... They are just doing the same thing over and over, improving only slightly. I havent played the newest games, but the ones before that were all just little variations of the same damned thing.So unless they improve it a lot more, they should just give up. Possibly take some more time to work more things out to make an even better game rather that quickly spewing out crap.
