I use WinXP SP 2 ^_^ Best for gaming! Unlike in 7, my previous OS, I had so much difficulty playing cracked games. Too strict issues on security (laugh)

Judging a person does not define who they are.
It defines who you are.

Win 7 64 right now and I like it a lot. I'm really curious how Windows 8 will turn out though... lots of "interesting" changes.

I have tried Ubuntu, but I am currently using Windows XP. I couldn't get the Ubuntu to work with my wireless internet, so it lost by default. I used to dual boot it, but I had to wipe my system and didn't reinstall it.

I liked the change; it was interesting having a different file system and a new set of tools to use. Not to mention the games that came with the Gnome Desktop. However, like I said, it was incompatible with my wireless internet thingie, so I had to switch back. Perhaps by now they don't have it where I would have to use Wine in order to run it.

I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium. Hasn't failed me so far. But again I'm a Windows-guy. Haven't tried out Mac or Linux.

Right now? Well, since getting my new computer it's Windows 7. But, back when i had my old computer I was pretty fond of using Windows XP. Tbh I don't think it makes a huge difference to me really, some people like certain systems for games (which is always good!) but, for me i don't play many games on my computer anymore. Instead, i use the new space and storage for a lot of music and anime. :P

Win 7. I feel this thread should be a poll.

Poll has a limited number of options, I think it is 10 (per question), and there is way more OSes then that, plus the version, etc.
Ubuntu (I think there are currently up to 17 versions .... List of Ubuntu releases)
Mac OS X (same as Ubuntu, currently about 10, List of Mac OS X Versions)
Windows 7 (Ultimate, Pro, Home Premium, Home Basic, Starter, Enterprise)
Windows Vista (Ultimate, Business, Home Premium, Home Basic)
Windows XP (3 Service Packs + Home and Pro Edition)
Windows 98 & 98SE

And then you have Android, more Linux versions, Google's little OS .... etc.

If you wished to present exhaustive choices, that'd be difficult. However, just to get an idea of where people stand, 10 should be plenty.

Win7
Vista
XP
Ubuntu
other *nix
other *nix
latest MacOS
2nd latest MacOS

or something along those lines. I suppose it'd be easier to get OS numbers from the forum server software though. So this thread is a great excuse for +1.

I am currently using Windows 7 Home Basic. This operating system was already installed to my Toshiba laptop when I bought it.
