I would have chose both cloud and vincent.Cloud for his amazing sword skills.Vincent for his accuracy with his guns.and because they both have so cool weapons I want them.

Cecil was the only male Final Fantasy hero character I liked at all until FFX came out. And he's probably my favorite non-Phantasy Star RPG hero ever, so he's my pick. I like Tidus a lot too, though I hated him at first. But he grows from a snivelling little brat into a believable hero over the course of the game, and it's really one of my favorite things in FFX.Anyone is better than Cloud, though. I will never get the appeal of him. Or Sephiroth.

...Vivi is male? o____o;; Ok, I'm sorry Vivi-fans, I honestly believed him androgynous...This was extremely hard to choose from. I had to narrow it all down to Vincent, or Kain. There were so many I would've chose instead, but they're not up there. Vincent is...an Emo King. And he loves/d a Mary Sue called Lucrecia - even though she went with HOJO of all people, now possibly has feelings of a girl 30+ years his junior (if it all accumulates in his never-aging body), spent 30 years in a coffin punishing himself he didn't even do among some things. Even so, he has that cool, mysterious and dark air about him that makes it close to impossible for fangirls not to like...So I chose Kain. It was close though! Kain is a really well-developed character, is in a great class, has problems to deal with that are common occurrences in real life, even if it is slightly clichéd, it didn't seem like it to me. Vincent just seems a little over-the-top to me, no offense to fans.
