The M3 Simply is AWESOME!!! I just got one about 2 weeks ago, and I've already got my 1GB card filled half-way. :)If you just got one & haven't gotten a microSD card yet, or would like a back-up card check out the link below!!! http://meritline.sto...ro-sd-card.htmlYou can get a 1GB Kingston brand mem. card for $15!!! It was rated highly compatible with the M3 Simply (I did TONS of research before buying this product & my Simply) and works GREAT in mine! I've played DS ROMS (ROMS are ONLY legal if you own the game & the original cart. is NOT in use... please avoid piracy so video games are still around for my daughter when she's my age...), SNES ROMS, NES ROMS, and a multitude of DS homebrew apps/games without lag of any sort. I've found LOADS of great DS homebrew apps & games, and so far about 75% of them are compatible with my Simply. The others would load, but the touchscreen had wasn't supported. I read on another forum (AfterDawn, I think) & a guy told me that it's simply b/c the development kit used to create those programs (PALib) had just recently released a new version of their software that adds compatibility for the M3 Simply. He then told me that it's basically just a matter of waiting for those individual programmers to update their software & homebrew app(s)/game(s). Updating my M3 firmware to v1.04 Beta seemed to clear up some other issues for me, also. I found this simply by searching Google or Ask for DS homebrew sites.I highly recommend finding & downloading DSOrganize! This program has many useful features including a web browser, IRC, day planner, and much more. I had to update to v2.7 Alpha (after tracking it down...) & patch the .nds file in order for it to work on my Simply. Honestly, it may have worked after simply upgrading to the latest version, but I wanted to patch it just to be safe! There's also an application called "Win2DS" (or "DS2WIN", I can't remember) that allows you to connect to your computer remotely!!! Obviously it's a bit sluggish on a processor much smaller than that of your computer, but the convenience obviously outweighs the wait! All you have to do is place the files on your mem. card & run the Win2DS (or DS2Win, again, can't remember) .exe on your computer(s). It will automatically pull-in your Wi-Fi settings, so all you have to do is change the IP to whichever computer you wish to connect to & you're done! I recommend reading the instructions so you know how to zoom & navigate more easily. To all of those that have purchased a Simply, I say ENJOY!!! To everyone else, I recommend you go get one!!!Oh yeah, almost forgot that the Simply has a built-in "Boot Slot-2" function that allows you to boot to a GBA game, or other Slot-2 device. The reason for this is that you can't run GBA ROMS with a Slot-1 device... The GBA code is ONLY accessible through Slot-2, making it impossible for a Slot-1 device to access it. I'm sure someone will come out with a GBA Emulator that works on the DS at some point in time, but I wasn't very worried b/c I don't own very many GBA games in the first place. I thought adding this to the Simply menu was a good idea b/c if you ever want to add a Slot-2 device to your collection, you don't have to get a Slot-1 "passkey" device to boot it!!!

ROMS are ONLY legal if you own the game & the original cart. is NOT in use...

You might want to do some reading up on this sort of thing:http://en.wikipedia...._status_of_ROMsUnless you live in some obscure country, roms are most probably illegal whether you own the original game or not.

I have had this problem before and to fix it don't push it in all the way in. When I push it in all the way it pops back out, so I just push it in untill its clicks.

thank you, i might try that. right now i have a piece of sticky tape holding it in, and i found moonshell hosted on some file hoster sitehttp://files.to/get/...ll_1.6final.zipedit: didnt work, there is no click sound. there was when it was working, now it just kinda has the spring thing push it out no matter how far i push it in. if i let go too soon and it ejects like a faulty PSP game

Sorry if this is asked already but I'm not able to use the search function to look for it for some reason. Anyway, is it possible to install Flashme from the M3 Simply? Also, how risky is that SL1 thing where you connect a metal object to it in order for the flashme file to install?

yes it seems possible to run flashme on your Simply since it is a .nds file. As for the risk with the SL1 connection if you turn off your DS during the flashing process then your DS is bricked unless its passed 1% or something then you can restore the firmware and go back to flashing. For the NDS lite however there is more risk, there are other contact points close to the SL1 contact point which if you short circuit could permanently brick your DS.PS: just updated the first post to include the added cheat function

I think so from the looks of that page, you should also get a micro SD -> SD adapter. As you can see in the picture on the page. Getting the micro SD in and out of my M3 Simply isn't all that hard for me.

I've bought four Micro SD cards so far, two 1 GB Kingston cards and two 2 GB SanDisk Micro SD cards, all have come with an SD converter. Chances are you'll get one too.

are those files in the root folder or your Micro SD card? And although a stupid question, did you extract the contents of the .zip file you downloaded?

When you download the zip file, open it and there should be a folder inside. Open that folder, usually labeled English if you're downloading the English version. Then drag the contents inside the English folder to your MicroSD card's root folder, let it overwrite all and that should work.

Nevermind, it's working, but I have another problem, which's driving me crazy. When I downloaded the 1.04 for the cheat thingy, I overwrited the cheat and cheat.dat in the _system_ folder to have a cheat for a certian game. But when I choose a game, not only the game didn't have the cheat, other games which had cheats in the previous cheat and\or cheat.dat are there. So, where are they? Where do I save? ><
