Third option is Flashme, though that can be tricky to install. Holding select during boot would then give you the nintendo firmware menu instead of booting from flash, so you can launch in GBA mode that way without removing your card.No either you boot the M3 in NDS mode then go to GBA mode or take out the simply and then turn on your DS

There's no doubt it's a hassle, and can be risky too... but not everyone's going to agree that it's too much trouble, and the point of flashing your DS is whatever you want out of the firmware. It's gotten to the point where I know more people who have installed flashme for reasons other than booting slot-2 carts. First and foremost reasons I've seen lately are bricking protection and for running download play games that are troublesome on unflashed units.A friend I work with had me install flashme on his Lite for exactly the reason we're discussing here (which is why I thought to point it out). He absolutely hated dancing around menus or popping out his passcard (and now an M3S) to play GBA games on his slot-2 M3. He was perfectly happy to just use the passcard until the GBA issue grated on him and he had enough. 'course now he wonders how he ever put up with the health screen & passcard splash...Flashing would be too much of a hassle to do, and it really isn't the point of flashing your DS

New SMB, Mario Kart DS and Super Mario 64 do not work with Download Play. Download Play doesn't work for most games. Kingston or SanDisk both work equally well in my experience. I use a 2GB SanDisk and have had zero trouble with it.I know you my have answered this in past Thread, link then, but i just canīt scroll whole thread from start (i began from there) to end (i read first ten pages and then jumped here) but i would like to ask about few things about this product...Download play:Doeas it have any workage in download play? My attend was to host in new super mario bros, Mario kart DS and super mario bros 64 DS. Not much more, but does it work in those games? If it works in some games but not in all iīd take that too.Does it have Any errors in games? Iīve seen some allready, so i should maybe accompany it with Kingston MicroSD rather than Noname cheap-microSD..?I really would like to buy this one, with ds lite so i wouldnīt have to bug with games that cannot be found stores anymore (phoenix writh 1! Got to love it, and paly it) So life would be easier to me. You can help me by telling answer to SD card speed question and little more by that download-play question since my friend is going to get ONLY DS-lite with retail copy of Phoenix wright justice for all, and it would be time-killing to play some Download Play games with him on free time.In now thanks, appreciate info.

Alright, thanks a lot. I didn't feel like flashing my DS. I was thinking of getting another m3 product for slot 2.Also, the EZflash 3-in-1 sound nice. It's not really a slot 2 device, more of a RAM cartrige to allow me to play GBA for only $20.I have a M3 simply and M3 SD for a combo, you can leave your simply in your ds and use its boot slot 2 function to start your slot 2 flashcart

You exaggerated the price. You can find 1GB Micro SDs for $10.You forgot to add the price of the Micro SD...with a 1gb card total should be around 100US$.
