My favourite genre on the ps2 is the action/hack'n'slash one, like DMC,DMC3 and the Onimusha series.

Action, Adventure, RPG... Thats it in short terms, I won't get into saying Action-RPG, 3rd person, etc. cause they fit in those first categories

RPG of course because it already has adventure, action and challenges. Besides there's a storyline too.

Any type of game except shooters and sports. (except snowboarding and skating) Shooters are overrated. Such as Halo.... die.

For me, it's fighting, SHMUPs, beat 'em ups/hack 'n slash, and RPGs. My top favorite genres.

RPG's all the way.Thats about my entire game collection. I've only got one fighting game, and only one driving game. Maybee three adventures, one flight simulator, and about 20 RPGs.

i like rpgs like fable and that one stars wars game.... where you really are able to control everything about the charater....i think they are called like free form rpgs
