that happened to me when i was playin golden sun lost ages. it was a glitch i found inadvertently. i got on this little plot of land with a chest. all there was was a place to stand and then the chest. i jumped onto it, opened the chest, saved my game, and then turned it off. i turned it on to play it later that day....and i couldn't get off the island. i actually tossed my gba onto the floor, and haven't played that game since then, but i dled the rom the other day so i will probably wind up playing it in the near future.

Well,no worries:I'll cheat my way up to the point where I had saved and then keep playing normally, unless cheating ruined my savegame in the first place!!!!

I'll probably get angry first because I got so far into that game and won't touch it for a while, but pretty soon I probably wouldn't be able to resist the urge to complete it.

i do remember one thing.
it took hours and hours but.
by the time i was done with it.
i was so involved. i didn't even know what to think.
i carried it around with me for days. and days.
playing little games.
like. not looking at it for a whole day.
and then. looking at it.
to see if I still liked it.
i did.

After going out and buying a new copy of the game after throwing it across the room, it's time to start again.

I'll play them again, although usually not right when I lose the save because I'll be so disgusted that I have to do that much of the game over again.

I'll just play again, but if that took me one year to almost get to the boss, then I think I'll cheat my way to the boss :clapping:

It depends how far I was in the game. If I was close to finishing it, then I probably would never touch it. But if Ionly just started and was <10% through it, then I would load it up and start the adventure all over again

It will all come to the same conclusion: yes I would. It wouldn't matter if I played for 1 month to get a super special rare thing, and the file was erased: I would still play, even though I would be pissed. I just have to wait a certain amount of time to get over it. For example: in Pokémon Silver, I played for around 3 weeks to a month, and got all my party Pokémon to be level 100. Then, I accidentally turned off the game without saving it, and the file was gone. No, it wasn't the internal battery thing - it saved when I began a new game, and the new file has been saved for 6 years now, thankfully. *Cries with happiness* And the file is still there.Anyway, the file was gone, and I got pissed. I stopped playing for 5 minutes, and I got back on again to play a new game. It really wasn't that hard to start the game.

This too, happened to be once, and it was FF:VII, at the change of discs (those who play the PC version would be familiar with it). What did I do, you ask? Well, I replayed the entire damn thing (with a walkthrough this time, and a patch)

I usually just leave it alone for awhile, depending on how much I lost, the more I lose, the longer I stay away

I won't touch the game for months...no matter how much I've lost, I hate starting over something I've just done. Of course, if I was close to the end of the game, it'd be even more frustrating, so I'd leave the game for 6 months at least, lol.

It really depends; if I'm REALLY close to the end I'll probably never touch the game again, but if I'm less than halfway through and it's a REALLY good game then I'll probably play it through. God knows that there have been plenty of games that I DIDN'T lose the savegames for but still put down and never touched again.

i'll probably take a few days' break from the game and then, grudgingly, return (that is, if it's good; i haven't played bko for a while because of this)

I lose all hope and go into an hour long depression. Then I start a different game and the first one again later. I never put it away forever.

It happened to me once, with Emerald and I didn't restart the game...... but I think it would depend on the game if it were to happen to me again......
