I lose my save file all the time in Yellow version. Even if it falls on the floor by accident, it will lose it's save file. And if you tap the cartrige when you're playing it on the GBA, it will crash...

It depends on the game. That happened to me once, and I was SOOOO angry, I had some bruised toes from kicking the nearest inanimate object, but I played again, however grudgingly. It just wasn't the same, though.

I'd never touch that game again because anybody who knows me knows that if I lose a save file, I just abandon that game.

i would say, even if i lost my data completely or got wiped out, i suggest that we remain calm.a game is always a game and it dosent affect us in any way in real life. we dont need to get all mad and boiling fuzzling over 1 small little game.just restart everything and start from the square one.

I would just play it again. Since I know most of the game already, I could make up for past mistakes.

If the game is really that easy and I really didn't lose a lot of data, I'd play the game again especially if it's really fun.

Depends on how long I played for and how hard the game was. If it was some epic game spanning hours of gameplay (any of the Final Fantasies or another RPG) and I lost my save file, I'd have to really love the game to get back into it straight away. I might wait a while and then start again sometime later. Or I might not. I dunno, it all depends on many things.

This has happened to me a few times. I get a bit annoyed most of the time, but at least I either get a chance to fix some mistakes I made, or know when to save an alternate file in case I want to go another route.

I also experience that kind of situation. I cannot tell if a game disc or cartridge I play is broken, but I'll play them again. Sometimes, it depends on the game that I need to finish for more than a week....
