the ds is cheaper and it is more durabile then the psp, most parents would rather get their childen a gba sp or a ds (although they are breakable), then a extremely breakable psp, i have seen it drop from a couple feet and crack and a closed ds can stand a beating, although the hinge thing breaks off easily.

Fall back? The DS just saw its third Christmas, and it is still selling out in stores. It's the most popular console in the world. It sold more consoles this Christmas than any other system. In Japan, it sold more than all the other systems combined. Nintendo is completely dominating the handheld market, not to mention the entire video game industry right now.

Nintendo Ds and Nntendo Wii are the most awesome consoles if ever seen in 2006/07. Best games ever!!!!!!!!

nah man whatchu mean... nintendo ds is tight and the cheap alternative to the psp... not to mention you always got em classics... i was playing super mario land for gb jus this morning... always down with the old school

Nintendo was the best brand console if ever played.

As long as nintendo keeps putting out fun games and putting out great graphics, im sure Nintendo will be around for more years to come! I hope nintendo never goes down without a fight. I grew up with it, and will be with it to the end! HELL YEAH NINTENDO! *claps*

What the flip?! XD Look at the sales of the DS then look at the sales of the PSP overall. It'll make you speak some sense. The DS has been dominating for months.

I thought that the DS Lite was selling like crazy? So far, all I've heard is that Nintendo has dominated the handheld market, and has shown no signs of letting up.

I don't think Nintendo will EVER fall back in the handheld community. It's probably the most popular handheld gaming company. The Gameboy and it's followups were major hits, now the DS is huge.

of course not. it has always ruled the hand held battle. psp is just an i pod that plays vidoe games. there are no good games for the psp. its over rated. trusty nintendo is still on top of the handhelds

When you think of handheld consoles your mind doesn't think Sony or Microsoft.. it thinks Nintendo. Nintendo will always dominate the area it dominated from the start and that is handheld consoles.

If sony continue the way they're going then they are going to start to rule the market, the've effectively put a PS1 in your hands with capabilities for other things as well, has nintendo done that?
