I would say Alakazam, because he can learn the Punches and be effective against a few types with his massive Sp. Att.

Tyranitar. It has high HP, Atk, Spe. Atk and can learn many powerful moves.

I say Kyogre as it owns.. I went through the elite 4 for hoenn only using Kyogre and won the entire thing using Ice Beam.. ;)

of course its mewto in the old pokemon red I beat the elite four using only a level 90 mewto and no other pokemon. that was asome I don't know if that is still possible with the dark type pokemon in the game but still it was asome(hint do try this with zapdos to it might work as good as mewto)

Clefable, as it has metronome, which can turn out to be any kind of attack like FireSpin, or HydroPump

Base on stats, I think the strongest non-legendary pokemon is slacking but with the traunt ability, its just balanced... :( so i think it must be Tyranitar.... :(

Aruseus from Diamond and Pearl.He is by far the strongest. His base stats are the highest out of any Pokemon.

I really wouldn't say there's a strongest pokemon because they all have their weak points. Tyranitar is pretty strong if you use Dragon Dance to Speed up and raise it's attack. Then it could pulverize the competiton. Unless someone like Weezing(who has high defense) comes along to stop by and say hi with it's haze attack to stop it.
