No. I don't feel like having it overheat and getting damaged.

I usually just leave it in standby mode, for the occasional message.

well, i leave it on standby usually, but lately i've been unpluging it.but really, standby mode doesn't take up that much, especially in comparison to the 360 or ps3

maybe it's not taking much power, but still it's not zerowith global enviroment changing and earth exploitationyou should turn off any electrity devices if you're not using it..besides it will be safer too, you might never know if there ever be a power surge or lightning strikeswhile you were at school or office.there's a lot of person who'll leave their pc on for weeks while they were on vacationthis is absurd your email will be there even when your log off and shut down u'r system.unless you're running some server application, shut it off please.

Yes we do, but frankly, i don't see the need. It is sleeping by the way so it stays connected.

I leave it pluged in, but unless I'm going to the bathroom or something I turn it off when I'm not using it... unlike my computer. :)

Why would you do that?Computers are different, espeically webservers where they need to be up 24/7.Sometimes overnight for torrents. But why a Wii?

I normally leave it on standby when I'm not using it specifically. Although recently I have been switching the power off the mains on all of the electronic equipment in my room bar the home phone that's up there. (That needs to be on to keep it charged, apparently....) So to answer, I did... but I don't now. Which may please my parents since they say the electricity bill is quite high....
