ive placed my wii on the connect24 and it sometimes runs nonstop and even the whole night. dun know wat its updating, but im not too concern about the electricity. I'm more concerned that it would burn out the system if this continues.

When the wii was still called the Revolution the same question arose, and Nintendo's answer was that the wii has uses very lower power, and that the wattage is lower than the average 60W light bulb, now I dunno if thats for the wii being on or stnadby.

I turn mine off when I stop playing for a moment, and I unplugg it once I go to bed. Just in case my cat finds it way up to my room again. He destroyed my mobile phone recharger's cable <.<

I've only left it on for 24 hours straight a few times to unlock stuff in Brawl where the requirement was "Play (insert number here) hours of Brawl"

Hell no, I wouldnt be worried about the electric bill, but the Wii itself. I dont think the system would hold up to good being on 24-7.

Same. First, it's the bills, then I'm scared it'll break like my Gamecube did. I left it on 24/7 and it overheated... then met an unfortunate end.

Sometimes, if I fall asleep or I'm too lazy to finish level and save the game. I pause it, cover the Wii so my mom doesn't turn it off and change the channel.

No. I turn it off when I'm done. Even if it is only for few minutes. The only time I've left it on 24 hours in a row was for Brawl. :br:
