Naruto: Gekitou no Taisen 4 (maybe spelled wrong) is pretty awesome, if you're a fan of the series. It translates to Clash of Ninja.

Oh heaps - you got Kirby, Klonoa - but they're sold internationally, so there's no point, really. But there's also Sin & Punishment. You don't need to learn the language because they already have English voices.Also Fire Emblem, but if you reeeaaally wanna know what's going on, you could probably find an English patch (except for FE3. Grr...)I also tried a few Naruto games in Japanese. I pretty much got the gist of it without learning the language.

well i'm kind of going back to gba with this but fire emblem 6 sealed swords the only game exept melee with roy in it...

Oh I SO wish he was in Brawl... ;_;

I also think the Jump Superstars is a good japanese game, mostly all of the characters from Jump are all playable.

Well, there are several games similar to SSB except they have different characters, like Naruto or Inuyasha or some other anime. I'm afraid I don't know the names of them, but if you're into fighting games, those are fun.

Depending on your previous experience with the series you might be able to play the japanese installments of the Fire Emblem series. Won't be quite so fun, but if you already understand the 2 english versions then the japanese ones are only slightly harder to do.Admittidly I got bored halfway through coz without the storyline it does get a bit repetitive. Depends on how much of a fan you are.

most games are pretty intuitive, but some require a good knowledge of how the game works..i remember when i played the japanese verion of megaman 64, and i had really no idea what to do from the start. i have SSBB in japanese and i had no problem figuring out the features of the game, so that was nice

i loved the saint seiya games for ps2, it was a fighting game. the graphs rocked, more in the second game than the first one. the combos were simple to do but cool to see

with the advent of having text in your games, you kinda need to know that game's language in order to fully play it.that said, i would be in love with klonoa heroes if i could understand what everyone was saying.
