I've never actually played any of the Metal Gear games. My friend was harping on me because I'd never played them. However after seeing this game, I think I might try it out. It looked like a lot of fun playing a stealthy/tactical game.

Looks amazing. The gameplay footage looks better than the trailer footage.

I have played thru all the PS/PS2/PSP MGS games and am a fan of it. The game video looks amazing just a little disappointed that they are pushing the game back to 2nd quater of 2008.

This will be an excellent mgs game i just cant wait for the story line and how the mad man kojima is going to tie it all up.

i hope this long, long wait is worth it and from what i have seen it looks great. the MSG stories are allways good with lot of twists. remeber the first game on PS1AsrarQ

It just looks amazing. I have been a fan since I played Metal Gear on Nintendo many moons ago. Metal Gear Solid is one of my favorite all-time games, and Sanke Eater is right there with it. I can't wait to get my PS3 and MGS4.

The previous installments have never been a disappointment to me. I loved the over the shoulder thing in other games so by the looks of it I'll enjoy MGS4 even more than before with the refined controls. I can't wait for it.

metal gear solid has always been good/great in story telling and gameplay. I'm very certain that it wont be disappointed.On another note, i noticed no one is mentioning the other online counterpart for metal gear solid for the ps3

Metal Gear Solid 4 looks like is going to be the best Metal Gear Solid game out of all the other ones, in my opinion. I can't wait until it comes out, although, I don't have a PS3 yet. I'll definitely get a PS3 after this game comes out though.

a must have for any ps3 owner any news on raiden being a playable char?? that would make it even better and use the thumb stick to control the sword like mgs2
