I first played MGS on the PSOne when it was first released. I wasn't even close to the age requirement then lol. But I fell in love with it and have with the whole series. MGS4 looks like it's going to go past my expectations and I can't wait for it.

I think "nowhere to hide" would indeed imply that your hiding places are limited to few or none. Kojima has stated in an interview that the player will have high flexibility, affecting surroundings, enemies and using information you get to solve your way out of different situations. In other words, you should get ready to think strategically. Remember the cicada noises. Also, Snake's age means that his condition has worsened. In my opinion, this is to put him in a situation similar to Big Boss in Snake Eater. Since technology was less advanced in Snake Eater, Big Boss had to eat and heal wounds like a normal human being does. In the Solid Snake-series, technology supplies different substances to Snake through the nanomachines, so he doesn't have to worry about food, except to restore health. But in MGS4, his body is decaying, so he gets easily tired. Don't be surprised if you see a Stamina gauge in MGS4. Since he's got a Metal Gear Mk II with him for communication, I doubt he has any nanomachines injected in his body. So he isn't supplied any necessary substances in his blood. Thus, he is in the same situation as Big Boss. This is just what I think.

It looks massively different. If you've all read the articles and stuff you'll know all about the new camouflage system, customisable weapons, "playing dead", and all this stuff. And quite frankly it makes me really excited. Can't wait!

Like any new systems you have to give it time for game makers to come out with great games. Then again ppl will make crappy games just to make a buck. By late 2008 or early 2009 there should be a bunch of great PS3 games out there.

ps3 already getting better as the firmware updated roll in, some of the best recent additions by update are:ps2 game upscalingps2 memory card support (not just a one way trip anymore)best of all, You can use NERO7 to stream media straight ot the PS3 over your home network, it will even Trans code the formats for the ps3 on the fly.

I've been a huge fan of Hideo Kojima's games since Metal Gear Solid 3, a truly great game. I can't wait for the sequel! I just hope it's as good as the previous game - Next-gen steps are always difficult, but, then again, MGS2 proved that Kojima's team was (and is) up to the challenge.

MGS4 is so very exciting and highly promising. Kojima has said that he's developed something to replace Rumble that is so important, that if Rumble came back (which it has, kinda) he'd have to chose between one of the two and it would not be an easy choice. I can't wait.Plus, the graphics are looking to be astounding. If you look up 'MGS4 devkit' on YouTube, you can watch the team showing off the development tools. It's actually mind-boggling. I would post the link directly, but YouTube's acting up right now.

I'm not really liking what I'm seeing. Nowhere to hide seems different, but will it be good? I'll wait and see.

I used to believe there is not way MGS will port to other system... but with the recent sluggish sale of PS3... and the announcement of delay of MGS... hmm... there may be a chance that MGS will port to Xbox360
