MGS4 what I have heard will only be on the PS3. When they said "Nowhere to hide" it makes me think of a game mixture of MGS2 and MGS3.

I still don't like Raiden...The dissapointment I felt in Sons of Liberty was almost enough to make me quit playing...key word almost. The idea of snake being old I'm alright with, think of it as Clint Eastwood in "Unforgiven," if Dirty Harry had to hang up his guns at some point, so does solid snake. Though I'd prefer to see many more missons involving snake before we got that sense of closure we lack from many games I'm definatly going to get a ps3 simply for this game. If they were to continue the series I doubt I'd get into it as much because let's face it, Raiden just isn't Snake, never will be. Though now i'm thinking back to that old Ctrl+alt+delete comic of snake in a nursing home lol

I think it's okay but i liked the original ones. I guess it will cost a lot for he game another turnoff in getting a ps3

I only remember seeing MGS 2 being on Xbox, but then again I dont see many PS2 copys now either.I dont remember Mgs being on xbox?

After being totally blown away by the experience in MGS3 and MGS3:S, Konami will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to surprise me with the newest installment. Honestly, every time I picture Snake running from those spider type robot things, my loins do a little lingerin'

well Gamepro did a interview with konami that they showed in their magazine and he said that it will not go multiplatformbut ya i still cant wait for this game

I love the whole series.... but isn't this one going a little too far? i mean... how old is snake? 80? How can he battle his enemies and save the world for the billionth time if he risks of dieing of a heart attack in the middle of the game <3plus i severely doubt it will remain an exclusive........ Microsoft's and Nintendo's arms are longer than Sony's and their wallets are far larger too... i'm kinda counting the months before it becomes an xbox 360 game as well....... as happened with ALL the metal gear solid series (MGS:TS to gamecube MGS:SOL to xbox and i'm bettin MGS:GOTP to xbox 360 as well..... but who knows)

mg4 should be awesome i liked MG 1 and the tactics one of MG i forgot what it was called and i liked those 2 versions i didnt play any other though >.>

MGS4 is going to be brilliant. People keep slagging the ps3 off for a lack of AAA titles.MGS4 will stun those people. mainly X-box 360 Owners, because it looks amazing and is only on Ps3! And to all those X Box owners, their ONLY AAA title has been Gears Of War, and that got repetetive less than a fifth of the way through the game.Shows the quality microsoft can churn out. SlashCookie

I think this game is gonna be HOT!! im a big fan of MGS games and never been dissapointed with any of the games so this is a must have. Hideo wont dissapoint us .

Well I just watched a new trailer on E3, and I just have to say wow. Just from watching that new trailer, among others, I can't wait for the release of MG4. I really want to know where they are going with the story line here. Pretty much all of the old characters have been brought back.

Yes. Today on E3 in the Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer, they showed a battle between Vamp and Raiden (the ninja). Amazing. I'm really excited for this game to be released.
