No complaints here, its only a bit more expensive than a PS3 or 360 remote.

I think it's too expensive. Considering that Wii games are only $50, charging $60 (roughly) for the full controller is ridiculous. Also, I think the Wiimote and Nunchuck should be sold together, considering that you can't use a nunchuck without a wiimote.

Definately, other controllers for other game systems only need 1, while alot of wii games need wiimotes and a nunchuck

I think most of the game related items are expensive, maybe not overly, but still expensive.Right now, I'm not working, which makes it harder to get the money. And I'm not the type to ask for €40 birthday presents.

Yeah, but would you rather pay $40 or $45 for your controller and $60 for your games like 360/PS3 owners do? Because I can guarantee you will never acquire more than 4 controllers, but you'll definitely end up with more than 4 games. Why should the two peripherals be sold together? While you can't use a Nunchuk without a Wiimote, you can use a Wiimote without a Nunchuk. What about those people that don't have any multiplayer games requiring the Nunchuk? What Nintendo needs to do is release more of the Nunchuk peripherals, because I've heard they are impossible to find. Also, if you're creative, you can find many other uses for your Wiimote because of the camera in there. The parts alone sound like they probably cost over $40 per Wiimote. The only justified price drop I could see is selling the Nunchuk for $10- $15, considering it's just a 3- axis accelerometer, 2 buttons, and an analog stick.

The price for both is $60 dollars here, which is quite expensive... I think it should be $50 dollars for both. That's unreasonable for Nintendo though... The Nunchuck and Wii cost a lot to produce, with all its motion sensor technology.

Yes, they are way too expensive in Australia. A Wii Remote alone is $70 and a Nunchuk is $30. Ripoff.

That's nothing. Here they cost $150 together, and even with the crappy exchange rate that's still WAY over-priced.

I agree, too. I would be able to play another human player in Boxing on Wii Sports (the only opponent who offers any reasonable difficulty anymore) but I don't want to go spending that much money on a single nunchuck!

They really are too expensive. They really only cost about as much as any other system's controller, but they decided to make both the Wiimote and the Nunchuck full price, which is a bad decision. If both were only about half the price of a normal controller, meaning getting both only cost about as much as getting any other controller, I'd be a happy person. As it is, I own three Wiimotes and only one Nunchuck because I can't justify paying that much just so I can have someone else to play Wii Sports Boxing with.
