You guys should stop being whiners, and act more manly instead. >_>There is a reason why the Wii Remote is a bit more expensive since it emit and receives RF signals (Wireless feature in simple term) for the Wii which is why it is expensive. Let me tell you that I work at BestBuy in Canada, and I'm roughly saving only 2 bucks compare to you comsumers. The "Cost" on those product are already at their cheapest. So don't whine about it, and rather, be thankful they're not thatmore drastically expensive.

I know a few suggestions to all of youWhen you buy a wiimote, buy the one that has Wii play disc too, so you can sell the disc for like 50 dollars and the disc and the wiimote package only cost 45.99, so you made a profit!!! and a wiimote!! repeat this process to get a nunchuk

Uhh... I'm pretty sure that Wii Play does not go for $50. Wii Play is just a bunch of rejected games that Nintendo threw together and added to Wii remote purchases to make more people buy them.At most, I'd say a Wii Play disc would sell for maybe $10, and only if the buyer was an idiot.

You'd exscept them to make a wii remote that had a plug to connect to the gamecube slot.

Hey, I figure the controllers have those prices because their games are cheaper than the other consoles.$70 for a PS3 game? Outrageous.

it isn't fair how overpriced the Wii remotes and Nunchuks are in Canada! it's not very fun to play by yourself because you have to save up what. over 100 dollars to get 2 more! sheesh!

They are expensive but they have a big nice aspect: you can use them as a wireless controller in your computer

i love my wii. i had to wait for 2 years to years to get it. but yeah for the wii remote i think the price is ridicules. I have to agree with other people when tehy say that it would be nice if they would sell the numchuck and the wii remote togethere.

yes i think that they are definately too expensive and with the nunchuk seperately I don't think that it is worth it.

I agree with you completely but there is a good way to get around the scary prices. I found a good solution for it though go to a game shop and buy it used. Even though the wiimote or accessory is used it works great usually is extremely clean (because of course the game shop wants to sell the stuff) and the best part about it they're cheap!

Yes i agree. The wii remotes are already a rip off as it is but to have to buy the nunchuk seperately is just stupid. But i guess they would make a lot of money out of it though. Not good for us buyers though.

definitely too expensive in my book. this is why my friends and i always make it a rule to bring your own controller whenever we get together to play. i'm the only person in my house who plays with the wii so i don't see the need to be buy extras just for when people come over.

Wow, seriously? Waiting is nothing. Patience is a virtue. That's the price. Deal with it.

Yea, You're right. It will cost $40 + $20 for a wii remote + a nunchuck. A gamecube controller only costs $20, so the wii remote and nunchuck is 3x times that amount. If you buy 4 nunchucks and 4 wii remotes, it's like you already paid for the cost of the wii already, but if you buy 4 gamecube controllers, it's will add up to $80 (that's only just $20 more than 1 wii remote and nunchuck.

here's my bluntly put theory on those people who are of elligible age and believe that the wiimote and nunchuk are too expensive. . ."Man up and get a job!"See, it makes sense now.

Here in Brazil, a wii remote ALONE costs about R$250,00 and the nunchuk too. Wii motion plus is about 150, wii fit is almost 700. Converting to dollars, it makes a big difference.
