Probably Kingdom Hearts 2. I beat it in about a week with like 35-45 hours. somewhere in there.

...Yet everyone is forgetting the Fullmetal Alchemist RPG's.I beat the 2nd one within 7 hours. How nice, lol.

Shadow Hearts, 22 Hours. Still one of the best RPG's i've ever played. I tend to take my time over them though cause you can miss so much if you rush.

for playstation2 i guess it was kingdom hearts 2, i did about 20-25 hours (i skipped quite a few of the movies and conversations)... ever ever, i guess FF6 in under 20 hours, with my characters in lvl 16 as a part of the challenge

Suikoden IV, it's not that I was fast but it's just too short (compared to other Suikoden series). Under 25..

I can beat Chrono Trigger for the Snes in about 2-3 (at most) hours going through the whole story and getting all characters. I can complete it in about 4-5. To just beat the boss of the game, I can do that in about 10 min

i finished grandia 2 , it had iots ups and downs. very short play time but the game play is worth it.

It took me about 33 hours to complete KH2. It took me a bit more than that for FFX. I love playing RPGs. They're just great like that.

I completed Suikoden IV within less than 15 hours. Oh, I also completed Suikoden V for under 10 hours because I played new game+ ,but I got all 108 characters.Btw, I also completed Suikoden II little over 10 hours because I had to do Clive's stupid sidequest.

Yeah I'd have to say Grandia 2 was the shortest RPG I think I've played thus far. It was fun mostly for the cool battle system, although part 3 was so disappointing I sold it after two days of playing it.

I base RPGs on the span of time it takes me to beat them. The shortest was without a doubt Final Fantasy X-2. I flew through that so fast after FFX. I just had to know what else there was to the story. The longest I'd say is Digimon World 2. Still haven't beaten it. Man that game sucks!
