I always find the gyms tha use psychic pokemon and dragon pokemon to be the hardest.

I think either Sabrina or Koga.Coz other than Psychic types, I can't think of a weakness for Poison types.

I think the hardest gym is the last gym in pokemon yellow and red versions..

In Pokemon yellow when you had to fight Brock, THAT was hard.

I guess because you have Pikachu... but if you train a nidoran male until it gets double kick, brock is nothingalso I think that Gym Leader Blue in pokemon gold is hard, because of a balanced team with no real weaknessIn Pokemon yellow when you had to fight Brock, THAT was hard.

none of the gyms are really hard but Giovani's (don't remeber how to spell his name correctly) is probably the hardest.

lol agreed...when i first got yellow i was stupid an it hought maybe they're gonna do sumthing liek the anime when i fought brockThe first gym in pokemon yellow. Worst type match up EVER. >_>
. boyw as i wrong, then i ahd to go train my metapod til it evolved into butterfree to kick brock's donkey with confusion 
. Also i thought RED from yellow was pretty hard..well that was because all my pokemon were under level >_<

well i think that the hardest gym is on johto's clair. that kingdra of hers is such an eyesore.

i think the water gym leader wallace in ruby/sapphire. they have pretty high special defense and attack. even electric or grass attacks do less than half damage, especially on his milotic, who can use recover. and their water attackes a pretty powerful too.

Hmm....NOW i think the hardest one to beat is....Wait, Auctually there r 2 Gyms....Wallace(3rd GEN)[8th Gym] is a pain with Kingdra in his side.&Brock(pokemon Yellow):- With picachu as a teammate .... You'll auctually be Roast.

If the Elite Four in Sapphire counts, then that's my choice.Try using Mudkip,With only five revives,at levels 56-75,with only a couple duper potions.Makes for one really hard challenge.

Definetly Pokemon Yellow and Brock. Also, I was a n00b when I played Crystal version, so I had trouble with Whitney. (fire type and a roll out attack is NOT good.)But I was a n00b, so it doesn't really seem that hard anymore.

pokemon gym that i found the most difficult is misty gym as in fire my starter was charmender and it could not even match starmie bubblebeam . it was terrible i had to capture an oddish and make it evolve into a gloom to defeate it Whoah it is the old moments ....

the hardest gym I think is the ghost gym in ecreateak in gold, silver and crystal because I never have a decent dark pokemon when I'm in that town and always beat them with fire, gras, water, or lightning attaks and you have to have your pokemon on a higher level than the ghost pokemon.

i always thought that psychic gyms were tough.water gyms give me problems sometimes b/c i seem to train alot of fire,rock,ground types.
