the gym with the twin leaders was the hardest. No matter what pokemon i brought, i always had a hell of a time beating them.

I can't say it was the hardest but, Winona from R/S/E was pretty hard the first time I faced her.

Seriously, no Gyms are very hard if u know what to take with you. I had problems with the second gym and then the rival fight in pokemon crystal, since I had to find pokemon that are rare in that version (can't remember the details).

well, he is right,if we use a 'Type Effective' pokemon, it would seriously be no problem fighting any pokemon trasiner!!Seriously, no Gyms are very hard if u know what to take with you. i play shappire version i achually think all de gym was so easy i killed all their pokemon all in 1 hit cuz i only train 1 pokemon..my swampert ..lol so by the time i reach de gym my pokemon will be like 2 times their lvl

I say the dragon gym in G/S/C is the hardest, because dragons are tough, and thunder waves are annoying

Depends, i was using a Blaziken and Sharpedo combo on Liza and Tate and it was rly hard! especially in Emerald!i dunno about sceptile and swampert...

Well actually this differs form each person depending on your team of choosen pokemon but for me i guess the 1 that really is a pain in the butt are the Psy and dark types...

the hardest gym for me is in yellow version the first gym because the first time i play i just train Pikachu so i got no luck...and got beat up

This is easily solved. Catch a Caterpie and train it 'till level 10. Let it evolve than use confusion on Brock and you'll have no problems at all.As far as the hardest gym I would say it's any of them using normal Pokemon. They do tend to be the hardest because not much is effective against them and they have alot of HP.yellow version against brock. i mean come on, you get pikachu which can't do a single thing against his rock pokemon!

I have trained many types of pokemon so no gym leader became a problem with me! I have whooped them out within 5 minutes! Isn't it exciting?

I have only played Pokemon Blue and since my lead Pokemon is always Hypno, I have a hard time defeating Sabrina (I think that's her name). Hypno's psychic powers are neutralized when fighting against her psychic Pokemon.

I think the psycic and lightning ones in the older games, and the dark ones in the more recent ones that Ive played. Just my opinion, pretty much because I always go with the water starter

For me, it's a 3-way tie between Tate & Liza in Emerald Version, Clair in Gold/Silver/Crystal Versions and Flannery in Ruby/Saphire versions.

The hardest Gym is the last person you battle in pokemon ruby. He has different veriety of pokemons

the hardest Gym Leader has got to be Sabrina. she is the hardest because versing psychic pokemon are hard to beat because they use recover.
