I think Clair from the 8th gym in Gold/Silver/Crystal is the hardest, especially dealing with her Kingdra.As for the other games, probably Sabrina for Red/Blue/Yellow and Norman for Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

the elite four in the pokemoncrater game.They all have lvl100s and there is kanto/joto elite and hoeen elite.

Actually, i definetly agree to that. They would always kill me with their pecial attack. If i were to choose which one to fight, i would pick anyone exceps those Phsychic ppl!!EDIT: oh yea, forgot 2 mention... THIS IS MY 1st POST!!!!! 0.0Generally I always thought the Psycho Gyms were the hardest. About all Psycho Pokemon used had a very high Special Attack, and my Pokemon didn't have that much Dark or Ghost moves when I did the Psycho Gyms.

If you were to ask me, I'd say Claire from G/S/C. She always gave me trouble, every single time I played through (I do own all three versions

From RBY, the hardest Gym was Sabrina's if you didn't get a Ghost beforehand.From GSC, the hardest Gym was Claire since it was hard to train the recently obtained Ice Pokemon from the cave.From RSE, the hardest Gym was the doubles match against Liza/Tate since it was difficult to immobilize one while concentrating on the other.

the most dificult gym is... wel it depends of the type of pokemon that the trainer uses, for example in my case I love Fire type pokemon and I ever use fire pokemon. Claire whit her kingdra and chukc whit his Poliwrath i have a lot of problems whit thah pokemon..

No all the gyms are easy when your lvl becomes higher !! i used to think the first gym is the hardest in yellow version cos the monster is rock element !! haiiiiiiiiiiiii !!!

honestly, the dark type Gym are no match...me, it is the Psyco type. i Know i need ghost type move, at the beginning, but training them is too much trouble when you start a game.Psyco is the hardest if you're not well prepaired.cauz in Emerald, the combo of the two psyco Gym leader, these are hard to beat.

All of the gyms are relatively easy as long as you aim for their Pokemon type's weaknesses. Except I was always too lazy to do that - so I completely over-leveled my starter to the point where types had little relevance in the heat of battle.

all the gyms are pretty easy actually. the twins are kinda troublesome in emerald coz they have a pretty good combo for AI

in my opinion the hardest were the twins in rse especially emerald only because when one would get low damage it would heal and the other bad pokemon would attack and when you heal they attack and you die.

For me, Brock's gym in pokemon yellow. All your pokemon suck at that time and Pikachu's electric and cants hurt him. Amd all your normal pokemon suck against him.

i think that the lighting/ electric gyms were always the hardest because their pokemon are always so strong.
actually, the best way to overcome this is to get a buterfree lvl 11-13, when it learns confusion it demolishes Brocks geodude & onix.For me, Brock's gym in pokemon yellow. All your pokemon suck at that time and Pikachu's electric and cants hurt him. Amd all your normal pokemon suck against him.

Water type gyms, especially the eighth gym in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald are very hard to defeat since their pokemon also know moves like ice beam so if you try to use grass types to defeat them, you get creamed...bad...

the hardest gym for me is clair in GSC. Her kingdra can actually beat my jynx from the ice cave!
