The hardest is Whitney and her miltank for SURE. I lost at least 10 times before i had enough exp to even get close to beating here =(

For me it was either - facing Brock in pokemon yellow, or those psychic twins gym in ruby/saphire/emerald

Whitney and her Miltank in GSC, simply due to the lack of good rock/fighting types when you fight her, or of a reliable way to make sure she doesn't demolish you with Rollout.

Saphire, Ruby Emerald version :Psychic Type, the damn twin...Gold, Crystal, Silver :Mine wasn't goldenrod, it was the flying type, (Falkner i think)Red,Blue,Green (Original version) :Misty's gym ! Coulnd't concentrate with her Staryu/Starmie higher lvl than i could possibily control myself...Yellow :Brock's Gym. So damn hard with pikachu...Leef Green, Fire Red : Non in perticular... or maybe the Psychic one. But only for the path... beating them was not difficult at all.I think that's all... Diamond and Pearl i haven't played yet.

I think the hardest gym 2 beat is the psychic gym. You need dark pokemon to beat it. its hard to get to the guy 2, especially in the FireRed version.

In the yellow version its the first one, in the green and red versions its usually the first two if you start with a fire pokemon, and in the Gold/Silver/Crystal its the Whitney.I usually had to trade the first time I played these games to get past these gyms.

well since I didn't get so far even in the old pokemon games like red and blue I thought the one with pyschic pokemon is the hardest. I think the leader was sabrina.

Brock from Pokemon Yellow. You start out with a Pikachu and it's really hard to beat his Onyx or Geodude.

If its a challenge of getting to the gym leader sootopolis but the hardest has got to be brock in yellow version

Yea, I gotta agree, it's probably phsychic. Everyone always forgets the obscure psychic gym and doesn't have a dark pokemon with them. Happens to me all the time....

Gary (if he's considered a gym leader) is the hardest i've fought. Comes after the elite 4 when your all worn down, and his last pokemon is the opposite of your starter. Nice long battle with pots lol

Dragon type gym is one thing that should not be underestimated...unless u raised an ice type enough to beat them. still i see that it is the toughest gym.see pokmon gold silver crystal.
