Squaresoft: Seiken Densetsu 3 or Final Fantasy TacticsEnix: The 7th Saga7th Saga is really underappreciated, but then again so are a lot of Enix games in the U.S.SD3 never got to the U.S. other than in emulation, but it really is better than any FF they made. FF Tactics has great gameplay too, so it's a close call.Oh, and of course, I think CT is not as good as SD3 either.

For Enix I would say Dragon Quest 6 or 7and for Squaresoft FF3 or FF7

CHrono Trigger would be my favorite. I love all the unique characters and locations that it has to offer.

I know that the FF series is great and all, BUT, I still have to give it up for Secret of Mana(Square) for the SNES and Dragon Quest(Enix) for the NES. Great games they are.

My favourite sqaure-enix game is Star OCean Till the End Of time the story was great and the action, the battle system was the best though cause you din't stay in one plays you had to move around and fight by using skills combos and spells (you guys should really consider looking at the images , by the way its on ps2)

Lets see for Square I think you are going to have to give them the granddaddy the original FF. As for Enix I will go with the Dragon Warrior original as well. Call me old school or whatever but I still remember unwrapping my original copy of FF. Why not include Atlus in this, the Ogre Battle series was/is fantastic IMHO.

chrono trigger, star ocean, ... but they made a lot more really good games. but for now i'm going to stick to these two.
