I used to be on the ATI bandwagon, but ever since I got my 8800, I think Nvidia may have got me for good.

nvidia is just plain better. they're more advanced and have more features, for the most part.

Go the Nvidia! - Im currently organising finance for a system with 2x 8800 Ultra's (the Superclocked ones XD ) i find that ATI has problems with user interface and the catalyst control centre is slow and sucky. then again the new nvidia tool panel for Win XP for "7 series" is prety lame too XD hopefuly this isnt a problem with the 8800's and DX10 / Vista and Ntune!I once had an MX440 - 64 meg running at double the frequency on halo 1 for pc :D that was... interesting XD i still have the burns on my knuckles! but hey, it worked alright once overclocked!

SUPER 1337 .. thats like 1.5GB+ anyways NVIDIA "FULLSTOP"

I prefer ATI for the simple fact that it's more emulation and old game friendly then Nvidia.

Nvidia is definitely BETTER as their newest cards exceed ATI's in performance. I would have gotten a couple 8800XT's put in but I'd end up downgrading my mother board in order to fit the things. Nevertheless, my ATI 2900XTs have served me well thus far :D. ATI has come a long way (*shudders at the thought of the ATI Rage 2c*)

Nvidia if you're going to do some hardcore gaming, settle for nothing less than an 8800 series card
