Completely useless, never use that site. The data is off, sometimes they show sli of a certain card being slower than a single card run. Anyways, you can't answer this question, as prices change, new cards come out, it always changes. Right now, it depends on your budget. For $100 the 7600GT is the best deal, but for a little more, you can get the $130 X1950Pro which is better, above that are the 7950GT and X1950XT, then the X2900 and 8800. They're all good cards, just check reviews and get one that fits what you need.that is an extremely hard question to answer. It really depends on what your preference is. The best thing to do is check out benchmarks on certain games with whatever card you want Check this link for good benchmark infoVGA Benchmarks

If I recall, there are many instances when SLI was slower than a single card...needless to say, SLI is almost useless unless you're gaming at very high resolutions. I don't know what's wrong with Toms VGA chart...Completely useless, never use that site. The data is off, sometimes they show sli of a certain card being slower than a single card run. The 8800s are beastly. I just got PNY's 8800 GTS 320MB. A coworker got the 640MB version. We've ran side by side tests and they tend to perform generally equally at lower resolutions (1280x1024ish). At higher resolutions the extra memory in the 640MB version starts making a huge difference. If you can afford a pair of 8800 GTXs in SLI mode, that would be badass. All depends on how much you want to spend...personally I'm waiting 'till next September to get a graphics card...at which point I'll get a couple of 8800's and hook them up. The new cards should be out by then and the 8800s'll be down in price.
