Alot of the games you're all mentioning aren't even RPGs. Mega Man X 8 wasn't an RPG, although I think you meant X Command Mission.The worst RPG I've ever played was... I'd have to think about that. I usually end up liking most of the RPG's I get my hands on, but in this case, I'd have to say Xenosaga Episode II. It was cool, the graphics were really pretty, and chaos still owns, but the battle system and character enhancement portions were really boring compared to Episode I. The battles just get really redundant, especially when every last one of your characters are restricted to using the exact same spells and skills.

I don't know about the worst ever, but I hated Suidoken 2 (or ws it 3), and I loathed Legend of Dragoon. FFX-2 wasn't great either, but was better than the low expectations that I had for it.

Mario and Luigi Superstar. It was the worst attempt at a Mario RPG Ripoff i have ever seen.

I find that statement amusing not only because it's not even a Playstation 2 game, but also because of the claim that it's a 'Mario RPG Ripoff', when it's made by the same people, and is, gameplay-wise, nothing like Mario RPG...but that's just me...As for me, I gotta go with Orphen - Scion of Sorcery. It had an excellent story and a decent soundtrack, but the gameplay was so bad it's not even funny, and I found it slightly annoying that they got different voice actors than the ones in the anime. They weren't nearly as good. Also, what's up with changing Majic's name to Magnus?...that was just lame. The confusing Battle System (if you can call it that) ruined what were otherwise awesome battles, and the exploration was so boring it brought me to tears. What also was incredibly strange was that there weren't that many battles...I played through one of the stories and I was in maybe nine battles...ten at most...something's wrong with that

personally, I found out I really hated Final Fantasy X and Lunar Dragon song. and trust me, it takes alot for me to hate an RPG.FFX, well, the battle system felt so limited. random battle enemies can potentially kill in one hit, high encounter rate, and bosses that attack with supers 3 times in a row just pissed me off. the dungeons lacked any purpose whatsoever, and it was unintersting. the story was very narrow and linear. the map was also eextremly linear and narrow. no exploration or anything. the world in the game felt small, and all the places looked the same (ruin, mountain, cave, more ruins). The camera angle also really annoyed me. Lunar dragonsong... the battle system was a mess. no targeting, litle options, only one really usable character, the annoying dual mode battles... and the loss of hp while running. its as if the developers purposely made the game a pain in the @$$.
