I have about 4000 currently, which is 12 days. Most of it is indie-rock.Oh, and I use iTunes cause of my iPod.

I have over 300 songs on my iPod and could probably get up to 400. I don't understand how one could have any more than 1000, though... and some of these devices can hold in the tens of thousands of songs! Are there really that many in existence?! :-P I just find it hard to believe

Currently i have about 3.5k. I know there are songs in there I've totally forgotten about, heh. Tried listening to them all in sequence (with breaks here and there) but I always forget them eventually. 
I remember having to choose between an 8GB iPod Touch (with fun-filled applications) or a 120GB iPod Classic (15 times the space, 15 times the music ).Tough decision

I have roughly 7,000 songs, but there's alot of live/bootleg material, so there's quite a few songs that I have 2, 3 or even 10 versions of.;o
