I have broken tons of them (and that was from use, not from mistreatment). The first ones to go were always the 3rd party ones, the last to go were the original ones. I hate how almost all of the N64 controllers seem to break. Good thing there weren't too many RPGs for it, or I would have wasted so much time walking because running wouldn't be an option (stupid broken joystick).

I sent many a snes controller to controller-heaven. They were great controllers, but their flat design made them susceptible to being bent

I broke one of my wireless ps2 controllers, it wasnt working so i tried to spilt it open but accidentaly kinda ripped it in half

Funny thing, breaking controllers... heh heh... well, my Nintendo 64 controller rattles when you shake it, I've busted off something on the inside and I can't figure out what.... I hate that controller so much, I'm surprised it isn't more destroyed due to heavy throwing toward the floor and wall.... My Super Nintendo has little dents in it, because I have a spiky bracelet, and I sometimes forget that I have it on, and I'll hit stuff, and there will be two rows of dents... I'm not so good with controllers at all...

broke a wavebird while playing wrestlemania for GC. the game actually cheated. cement floors are so unforgiving

Oh my god I'm a controller-destroying amchine! I've destroyed about 3-5 N64 controllers, about 3 or 4 GC controllers and so on.

broke a PSX controller.ha-he we evn bought 3 controllers but still broke. that was 4 years ago.

I broke about 3 N64 controllers (2 of those in Mario Party 1, while making the shyguy fly. *krack*)2 GC controllers, but only partially. They still work, but going down is hard <.
Xbox controllers. They don't work, cable problem or controller problem, I dunno.And... That's it. 7 controllers total.

I think I killed my SNES controller. Even after a long search of my brother's room to find it and retrieve and take it so my wife could play mario. It sucked so bad. I was in the middle of FF2 (FF4) when it deaded itself. Other than that I don't think so.

I just had a friend break my wii controller by trying to put it through a wall during a heated game of wii tennis. As for me I broke the genesis gun once when I dropped it.

Haha, yes i've broken an xbox 360 controller. got fed up with the lag on Xbox Live 
Also, i've broken a ton of N64 controllers, but then again... who hasn't?
