My brother has broken one of my Xbox crystal controllers while playing H2, and a rabbit chewed the cable of another.

The B on my Genesis controller doesn't work due to the fact that it is the turbo button for NBA Jam. That and the fact that I am still playing NBA Jam to this day!

Out of rage I only broke 1 controller. I was playing Guilty Gear X2 on the PS2 on Survival Mode. Well I died at about round 100ish and got so pissed I hurled the controller across the room and it shattered when it hit the wall. Have not played that mode since...

I've never broken a controller. Ever.I don't rage at vidya games. How does one break a controller with good build quality anyway? Fling it at your TV?

Yes. I broke a Gamecube controller when I was playing Madden 04 because I lost a huge lead. I used to throw my NES controllers when I was small while playing Duck Hunt, but they would still function, but not at a 100%.

I have always gone through controllers like wildfire. Way back when I had an SNES, the cords would keep on getting chewed through by pets, and eventually I had owned seven in the entire history of that machine. I owned a Sega Genesis as well, but oddly enough it was always the system that had a problem with my controllers; despite the fact that they worked fine on other Genesis consoles, their buttons and left D-Pad would always stop working from time to time. While I never lost a controller, to my own recollection, on the N64, I did have a controller or two that burnt out within a couple of months of use. They were off-brand, though.
