the joystick on one of my n64 controllers didn't break completely but it became very loose and would still work but would be kind of floppy if that even makes any sense lol...also my old nes controllers broke but i'm not exactly sure how because they just stopped working. I think maybe it is because for so many years I wrapped the cords around the actual controller any maybe something inside of the cords snapped but i'm not sure.

I threw my wii remote and it shattered.. lets see from over use it would have to be a dreamcast controller I think the yellow button was the only one left working.

I break every controller I ever own practically, except for the last 4 of my current system right before I sell it to Gamestop to get the next gen system, as then I didn't have time to get mad enough at a Madden game to slam it across the floor a dozen times or so, lol. Seriously though I go through probably a dozen or so controllers in a game systems lifetime with me.

Very Good

Nope, I've never broken one. But unfortunately, I've had mines broken by other people. Quite frustrating because I've always tried hard to look after my stuff only for other people to mess up.

Yeah Ive broke more TV controllers than any other controllers. If you lived next to me you would see a broken tv controller in the garbage almost every week. This is because if I ever get bothered when watching tv I would dart the thing bothering me so hard if the controller hit the walls it will surely break.

I had a PS2 controller that I got for christmas I used it for a while and the the O button stopped working properly. So then I got warranty on it and a about a month maybe 2 months later The triangle button stopped working on the new controller that I got from warranty...... While technically I don't think I broke it as such I did do a lot of button mashing so I guess it was partially my fault. (like <--> this much).

Who, me?I cried aloud with mirth and merriment. The very thought.Yet, my mom's boyfriend has.He does on a monthly basis. He chucks it at the wall and it explodes. Then he takes the remaining parts and explodes them.No kidding.Drarkis

Unlike many who have broken controllers out of anger, I broke mine out of the idiotic way I used to fold the PS1 controllers when I was younger. It put too much strain on the end of the cable nearest the controller and eventually must have tore it or something as it stopped working.

I am proud to say that I have not even ever gotten more than slightly angry at a video game, let alone broken a controller. I like to keep things in perspective and, after all, video games are just games.
