I remember when I had a Super Nintendo and I bought a generic brand controller As I was playing Street Racer the controller started not responding well right at the time I was about to win a raceand I got mad and yanked the cord on the controller then my sceen flashed pink and my SNES just just shut downThe moral of the story is do not buy generic controllers

I broke both of my Gameboy Pockets way back when (one was for me, the other for my sister). I don't remember exactly what happened, except that I dropped them on the ground while getting out of a car, and they didn't ever work again. I wasn't too upset though, because at that point I had a Gameboy Color.

I never broke one, but my friend and his dad are another story. I don't know how many headsets/controllers/other household items they have broken due to Xbox.

I've only ever had one controller make the sacrifice, my SNES Super pad, which was from overuse. However, my friend has gone through several N64 controllers by whipping them into the wall during GoldenEye matches. Also has destroyed a good wall that way...
