I've broken plenty of video game controllers when I was trying to open them up and modify then to work with something else. Circuit boards and soldering irons often don;t mix. But somehow I don't think that's what you meant :DMeep!Zithras

Yea I have broken a controller before. I dropped my gamecube controller about 3 feet and it wouldnt work anymore. so i took it apart, all of the cords/wires inside were snapped

I broke my ps2 controller before. I played madden '05 and got angry after i lost the super bowl so i slammed the controller on the floor.

I broke my ps2 controller cause I lost to night terror and got pissed off throwing it at the wall 
and I also broke my n64 controller from over use, the joy sticks on those things just aren't ment for hard core gamers who like to play hours at a time.

I feel stupid saying this, I broke 2 controllers at the same time when I tripped over one and fell on the other... It wasn't pleasant... and I'm not that fat too!

For some weird reason, one of my N64 controller's joystick always went to the left while playing a game. Also the start button on my N64 racing wheel doesn't function at all - even when we got it. :-(

I broke a Master System Light Phaser (you know, the gun), 3 or 4 gamepads (mostly due to wires) and two Master Systems 
(one stopped responding to player 1's pressing up, left or 1, the other one lost its sound).

the n64 controllers are almost impossible to break and i don't understand how you ppl have done it. My cousin literally whips them across the room, and yet has not broken one n64 controller. Xbox controllers on the other hand break off the first throw.

Ive broken 2 xbox controlers, 2 n64 controlers and 3 playstation controlers. SNES contolers were very durable but im suprised one of those havent been broken over the many years ive had it.
The thing that broke the most were the joystick it gets real loose and you can barely turn with themthe n64 controllers are almost impossible to break and i don't understand how you ppl have done it. I broke the same controller twice..I was driving my electric wheelchair to my gameroom and I felt something under my wheel, I drove backwords (Dumb me! 
) to see what it was, and drove over it again. Poor N64 controller..
