I'm decent when it comes to model ideas but colors are a whole different story(as the picture link says stock textures all around :P )As of right not the katana is just sitting on a cdrw waiting for me to decide on a scheme :(What i mean is what kinda wood handle, what color for the hilt and what kinda blade (since there is tons of different blade Types(different temper lines small details and so on.)Posted ImagePosted ImageThis is for use in a sig i'm making so not realy off topic i don't think :PEdit: Ignore the molding in the second link never felt like scaling and sliding it downEdit 2: I will do ONE Model for a use in a sig ((Nothing else. No using it in a game mod.I stopped making mods a long time ago.)And so were crystal clear on Edit 2 I will not do a char model. I will do a logo a weapon a misc item something that wont take me a week to doThe hilt on the sword took about 3-4 mins after i had the general idea. A outline, bevel and extrudeAnd for blades on hilt scale and taper thats all( don't know why I added that i'm just bored)

Well something easy would be the red with some gold trimming. Then you could add black cloth/white cloth, both go with most anything. Personally a white cloth/extra trim would look great to me :Pnot bad on the modeling though, I've been meaning to learn how to do that :P

Thx for the idea's and compliments stockQuestion though should the edge of the cloth be facing toward the bottom of the handle or the blade?Modeling isnt that hard just start with a simple program like Milkshape 3Dor blender (but thats probably off topic)(if you want info on where and how to start pm me)but for the cloth shouldn't be hard (cloth plug-in or make a positive mold of a cloth ring put into a cylinder and boolean. Then repeat. (best would probaly be flat texture PS's patch tool and desaturate and color to my liking then just make it black and white for the bump map) Writing here so i don't forget it lol
