id say the game is pretty fun the first couple times you play it. when i got it i played it with my friends, it was pretty fun. after a couple times playing it i realized it lack the variety of mini games. meaning there wasnt much variety in the minigames, and there were alot of 4 on 4 minigames...i found that the be the biggest downer. i like the whole trophey collection thing like they had in ssbm. also i heard many people have problems...DO NOT PLAY THIS ON AN EXPENSIVE WIDE SCREEN this game does not incorporate wide screen functions. they have green sidebars if u do have a widescreen, which may leave a green imprint on ur expensive tv.overall id give this game a 5/10...not the best mario party game, not the best wii game. if u want mini games id go with wario ware.

I have the game and love it... sometimes at least. Let me explain.1) If you like the other mario parties you will like this one2) If you plan to play alone... it will suck, it is a completely multiplayer game... or at least it is if you want to have fun. I found the single player boring beyond my ability to play.

Playing alone it isn't too good, but as the name suggests it's a party game, and a pretty good one at that, so if you plan on playing with alot of other people I'd recommend it other wise I wouldn't.

I still hate the stalling bits, whenever you pass a barrel that can shoot you away, you have to read it every time and say no. It gets annoying. But still, it's a great game.Too bad there're not that many 4 player mini games. Could be more I recon.

I have Mario Party 8, and it's really awesome. What I like about the game is that every minigame uses the Wii Remote and it's better than using a single controller. And what else I like is that the two new characters, Blooper and Hammer Bro, are new to the game. I might give Mario Party 8 a 9.5 out of 10.

I bought it thinking it would be as good as mario party 7 but it wasn't. I like how the levels are played but it just seems like they rushed it.

I never played mario party before I played it recently for the Wii. It's not a bad game and is definitly more fun with friends then by yourself, but I found the game to be too short and not too in-depth. While the mini-games are always a blast, you can get sick of them pretty quick.

Mario Party 8 only came out 2 days ago in Australia. It such a good great multiplayer game with all them minigames which really utilizes the functions of the Wiimote.

I would love to play mario party 8Here's the first screenshots of the new Mario Party http://media.wii.ign...824/imgs_1.html. I'm not a big fan of Mario Party myself. I don't like the stupid mini-games where you just hit a button as fast as you can or the chance ones, but my wife and daughter love it, so I'll probably end up playing this one quite a bit. Hopefully with all the options available to them with the new controller there won't be so many button mashers.
