The original Zelda on the NES. Boy did i love that and stink at it at the same time lol. But i really got into it when OoT came out ^___^ unfortunatly, i dont have any of the newer ones, other than a 20 min demo of the windwaker.

A Link to the Past was my first game. I hadn't even seen it before, didn't know what the controls were, and I was able to play it and become engrossed. It's still a shining example of what "classic" games SHOULD be.

Link to the Past. Uber classic, great graphics and excellent gameplay. I would always stay up late trying to beat that damned Turtle Rock :gay2:

My first Legend of Zelda game was... The Legend of Zelda for the NES. I think A Link to the Past is still my favorite. The only Zelda games I haven't finished are the Adventures of Link, Link's Awakening, Majora's Mask and the Twilight Princess. The phillip's CD game's don't count.

The original Zelda for the NES was the first to introduce me to the series. I also have the Zelda for GBC and the other one for NES.

For me, it was Super Smash Bros. Melee. Just playing as him made me want to play his games badly.

The first Zelda game I played was the very first one. I was 5 years old and I still remember that gold cartridge. After that I was hooked.

Well the first one I played was Ocarina of Time, but the game that made me love the series was probably A Link To The Past.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was my first taste of the Zelda series. Actually, I've still got the cart. sitting on my hutch with my other old games. It was just fun for me to run into walls/trees and hack the hell out of guys. Ganon was a pain at the end, I have to admit.
