never heard of it

It was a 'what if' kind of thing.I don't think you're reading things too carefully. You shouldn't just look at the title and decide to reply.

Well they could always do something like this. Have you start in Kanto and choose one of the starter pokemon from there, then catch first generation pokemon and go through all the gyms and the such, then you could move to Johto by boat, have all those Kanto pokemon locked up in a Kanto only PC. You then pick a Johto starter, catch second generation pokemon, go through the Johto gyms and eventually the Elite 4, then to Hoenn and the cycle would repeat. The after Sinnoh's Elite 4 are taken down you have acess to all your old pokemon from the 4 areas, inlcuding a new island like the Battle Frontier. You would also have some sort of transportation to travel between the areas like a boat or something.

That would be great. A release for the Wii, Kanto, The Orange Islands, Johto, Heonn, The Battle Frontier, Orre, Sinnoh etc. All the Pokemon in a convenient place :P

If they will release one. I guess i will need a sibling to finish the pokedex if i dont.Anyway, nice idea but that would be confusing because of all the regions. But youridea would be addictive to play. Especially if it has a new battle system. A battle systemof a MMORPG would be awesome. Or maybe they should make the whole game a MMORPG.Im getting addicted just in the idea lol.

Make it and I'll buy it! It would be really awesome. I would really like it if you could follow Ash as well.

Doing this, I would think that they would just make it one game. Instead of two different versions. The game would be big enough on it's own, so why need two games?Course, with how hand-helds are going, games should get bigger.

The only problem will be, when most people finish a region they have lvl 60s at least. So you either have to raise the level cap to like 500 (lawl no thanks) or make your Pokemon reset to lvl 5 at the start of a region, which would undo all your hard work. Or you'd have to start with new Pokemon and keep your old Pokedex. So I think having all the games on a new engine running in parallel (you can save your Hoenn game to go play in Sinnoh with a different team of Pokemon for a while, etc) would be the only way to make it work.So yes this is a good idea but it would be:-Hard to implement-Time consuming (probably 500+ game hours for full completion)-Monotonous (raising several different teams of Pokemon)-The death of the franchise. Seriously, once we have "Pokemon: Greatest Hits", the game franchise will be done for. And I'm sure no-one wants that, least of all Creatures, Game Freak and Nintendo! In other words, keep dreaming, but it WILL NOT happen.Sorry to burst your bubble.

Maybe you could have multiple Pokedexes?? I think that a Multi-region game is really a great idea.

i think its a great game and there should be multiple pokedexes

I have thought about that same thing since '07 and I still love that idea.To remove the 100 cap and replace it with soemthign like 500 and get the professors to upgrade the pokedex for each region Like after Kanto, travel to Johto to get Elm to upgrade the Kanto dex to Johto dex and so forth to do this.I love the idea but i would feel that they might need to put this on the Wii or something for better reviews.

i think thats how they should send off pokemon, make a game with access to all regions with maybe an adventure where all the main areas in each region are involved and the pokemon you go to catch is Archeus. All the rare pokemon can have a part and ash can appear too :o :o
