In my opinion the best Mario games are: Super mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros.

I say Mario 64. It's easy to make a big impact when you're the first to come along, but to make the same huge impact more than a decade down the line? Mario 64 defined (and still defines) 3D platform gaming. The freedom of movement, the large quest, all the trials, the challenge...it's just such a huge immersive world that still draws people in like few others.

I like the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. Coming in a close second is the DS version of Super Mario 64.

When Mario 64 came out it was like mass hysteria! it was pretty fun 2 play mario like that! i mean i didn't really care for mario but my friends showed me how fun it was and so i did! haha!

This is a very hard question as most Mario games are top-of-the-line classics. After much thought, though, I think Super Mario World was the best Mario game.

wow, this is still going on? oh, mario party seven isn't as good as the other mario parties at all...i say, paper mario a thousand year door's the best. but hey, all mario's rock, no doubt about it. Go mario!!! Hey, maybe I should work for the company?! oh, and mario sunshine's great too.

i reckon super mario galaxy its a awsome game can u see it man u go in different worlds just by going on this star that blastes u to it ok and u can fly fly anywhere ok.

Mario 64 is amazing but I'm going to go retro with the New Mario Bros. for the DS. I still think Sunshine is better then people give it credit it for.

id enjoy all day super mario galaxy its way awsome i would like to play it reall yplay it i already played mario party 7 i sold it its boring so mario party 8 is coming out on wii and maybe ill get it ok.

Super Mario Bros. 3 is my all time favorite Mario game. I loved the Tanooki and Hammer suits. Mario World is a close second.
