super mario world was definately the best (the one thats for gameboy) i played that for the first time when i was 5. but i also really like Super Mario Bros for SNES and Mario 64.mario kart 64 too, i dont know if that counts tho lol

Super Mario World (SNES) aka Super Mario Advance 2 (GBA)Super MArio Bros. 3 (SNES) aka Super Mario Advance 4 (GBA)

Mario 3 was for the NES not the SNES. I found Mario and Luigi superstar saga to be pretty decent.

Paper Mario and <shivers> Mario 64 (don't kill me guys but I really liked that game!) but of course, this is GBA sub-forum so I'll say Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga

Super Star Saga was alright, but I prefered Mario World just cause it was an old school on a new system, and nothing was changed, for that, nintendo will not lose a fan for a long, long time.

The best for me surely is super mario bros 3. Next to it I think is super mario bros and super mario world 2 yoshi´s island. All of which are for the gba. Very nice idea Nintendo!

Of all the Mario games, I loved SMB3 the best, Bowser's awesome in the game, and I love the Hammer Brother's suit. Those are my favorites.

I vote for mario basket ball as other. I think the game is great and it makes well good use of the touch screen on the ds. :(
