The only challenging Zelda bosses were in the 2D games like Oracle of Ages and seasons.

I think everyone's said it. We'd adapted to the tricks of the trade. When I go back now, battling the final boss of say Links Awakening Seems like a joke. I however had much a headache with the Spinner Boss on the... 5th Dungeon I believe? Lord Stalfos? Yeah him, he was a pain. Stupid Pachenko machine boss knocked me all over the place, and he killed me in his second form.I think a key thing is, we've GameFAQed all the bosses nowadays, so beating them is a lot easier. And those that aren't? We figured out via old games
Spoiler
Shoot the Bomb into the Boss' Mouth!
On that end, I think the difficult's about the same (bar the water dungeon boss, which was quite easy). It's just knowledge has come to be our power.

The bosses were definally too easy. The final battle in TP was just simple button mashing while even in Wind Waker, there was some skill involved.

I think it was the matter of the fact that I was about 6-7 when I played the older games, and now I'm a bit better at dealing with bossesAlso, older games tend to have the innate ability to be ridiculously (and sometimes impossibly) hardAlso, I think difficulty switches would be nicelol I'd love to play LoZ on like, "Intense" difficulty or somethingIt'd bring me back to Link to the Past, when Ganondorf would actually do about 4-5 hearts of damage without the heart shieldEdit: Why did it replace my periods with lol when I posted? I actually removed them because it was odd

I think when we think back to the bosses you fought as a kid they seemed so much harder because of our lack of motor skills.

Well, I haven't played the game yet (;() but I think the bosses are probably going to at least be somewhat challenging. Still, ya gotta love that Ganon is a fish. :P

Well, I've played Twilight Princess and the original... I've only fought the first two bosses in Legend of Zelda, and they were much easier than just about anything I can remember in Twilight Princess, with the exception of Armagohma (I think that's his name). It was just... Bombs. But then, I haven't beaten any beyond the first two, so maybe they get much harder?

Look at the bright side. At least the puzzles aren't any easier (well, most of them).

I have to agree...the bosses of TP were simply lacking in diffculty and there were no real surprises or twists to them. The bosses of OoT were far more rewarding and annoying :) Overall though TP was amazing and no one can deny that! Hopefully the series hasn't died down and a new one with the difficulty of prior Zelda's but the graphics and game play of TP will soon emerge

I wholeheartedly agree ...the bosses on OoT were challanging but at the same time beatable whereas on TP they seemed downright pathetic...

Just goes to show you that you can't really trust those trailers they show you about the bosses being epic-like.

Nah, Ganondorf was easy, the only part of that whole battle sequence which gave me problems was the Zelda Puppet, it took me a bit to realize it was a rehash of OoT Ganondorf. Bosses were very easy, BUT interesting to do, as most were novel ways to fight. Dungeons could get hard though, and the wolf parts started to get on my nerves up until I could manually change. But yes, the farther back in time you go, the tougher the boos fights get.

I thought most of the bosses in Twilight Princess where very very fun, however I do agree that they were easy beyond any reasonable level. Although I'm one of the guys that has beaten every Zelda game (except Wind Waker... but I really cant stand the graphics :smoke: ). I have even beaten Ganon in OoT (that includes 1st form, running down the tower (with help from that blue magic... forgot name XD) and 2nt form) without getting hit. XD

Either TP was your very first Zelda game, or you're not really good with battling bosses, are you? To me, none of the bosses, including Ganondorf, was difficult to defeat. True, Ganondorf seemed the least easiest out of all of them, but he was still easy to beat (easier if you used Wolf Link). The bosses in TP may have been easy to beat, but I don't think it can get any easier than the bosses in Wind Waker. I mean, seriously, it's not hard to not lose any HP at all when fighting bosses in that game. It's almost as if the developers didn't bother at all with them.
