All the biohazard series.... om g me and my firendz actually played 3 in the dark at midnight and it was SOOOOOO scary!!! i cant imagine playing that game alone..

Perfect Dark. I played it with friends and we didn't know where everyone was and then when I started getting ambush, I nearly jumped out of my skin. It was hell scary

the Tenchu series in which i've played two of. it doesn't really bother me, but it can be considered gorey to others. has a lot of cutting, decapitation, blood, death, etc.on the other hand, i'd also say the Silent Hill series where a room is never without the fullness of blood and rust. this includes the South Ashfield apartments at the end of Silent Hill 4: The Room.

I agree, I've played it many times, and since then I haven't seen it againid say Thrill Kill, i believe it was for the psone, lots of violence, more than any mortal kombat, and sick characters, because the graphics were so realistic they banned it...my friend has a copy...the fighting is total crap but it still is brutal

Yeha, I would have to agree with that, although I did'nt just see the screneshots, I experianced the real thing! Ok your in a dark room and your looking at these buffed up technical screnes, and then you look in one direction in the dark, then out of nowhere this monister attacks you, (good graphics) then you die with a heavy heart beat (witch sounded real on my friends excellent speakers).DOOM 3, just by the look of the screenshots.

Postal 2 was pretty brutal. I'd have to say that and Manhunt. Looking forward to Manhunt 2 on the Wii.

RE4 was pretty brutal, you could die so many ways it wasn't even funny. You could even get your face burned off with acid.

Hmm, I'm in a mess between several games: Halo, Diablo, Counter Strike, Half-Life, and Doom. But I think out of all of these it's safest to say Half-Life 2. I've never really seen the Doom 3 screenshots anyway.

silent hill games... or ummm... there's one that I can't think of the name of. arrggh brain fart ;P mortal kombat games were always pretty brutal though. FATALITY!!!

Dead Rising. One of the most gruesome survival-horror/action games I've ever seen. Killing zombies in every possible way was fun IMO.

Manhunt? Never played it personally, but it looks pretty brutal. So does God of War... I haven't really played many violent games... too many rely just on shock value. :/
