Hmm, without playing Manhunt due to its banning by the OFLC in Australia, I'd have to say The Punisher was pretty brutal considering what you could do to the poor lil henchmen... throwing the into pools of piranhas, interrogating with industrial drills, throwing people out of windows... using ppl as human shields, then blasting them away! Heaps of fun!

Bloodrayne 2. Makes God of War look tame IMO.They rendered multiple cross sections of each enemy.Examples:One killing blow:Impale a person in the back, pick them up overhead, spin them on your arm blade, holding up your other blade so that it severs their limbs, then you can cut the parts in half (including the head) as they fly through the air.There's another killing blow where you cut off the arms, the head and slice the torso down the middle. You can see the insides too. Like the ribs and organs. You can even slow it all down like bullet time and when you pause the game you can rotate the camera.If not Bloodrayne 2, than Dead Rising.Nothing like ramming an excevation drill into a zombie's stomache, picking them up while they spin and hitting other zombies until the spinning one's limbs break off. or burying a shower head into their skulls and watching the blood fountain down in front of themor punching your fist into their abdomens and pulling out their entrails.

Manhunt far surpasses any other games in the violence area. in how many other games can you choke a dude with a baseball bat, then use it to smash his head off, or stick crowbars in people's heads?
