probably Silent Hill. i played that game just enough to know that i couldn't stand it anymore so i took it out and popped in a happy game to calm me down...

I'm gonna have to say Manhunt. I didn't like the game but it was pretty brutal.

I say PainKiller. The death physics are really good. i mean they fly back, you stake them, blow them apart, or you could just toss them around with the grappling hook. ohh and they are all ready dead or just gone bad.

yeah that game is sick and still rocks... or am i the only oneManhunt is the most brutal game, i reckon, because it was not even allowed into NZ legally, whereas all the other games mentioned here were.

I'd say Metal Of Honor 1 and 2. Because it was very gorey and had an incredibly realistic layout of WWII.

One of the first games i played was duke3d, i was 6 years old, it was the demo, and also a game for +18, violence and adult content, now in my 14 years old, gore things dont impact me, duke3d has more violence that others games, and also shadow warrior, killing ninja zombies with your sword was cool, 3drealms is a master for gore.

Yep Mortal Combat had a lot of blood for its time.I remember buying Mortal Combat 2 on Sega Master System when I was in the elementary and it was like most probably the first 18+ game...

i know there are more brutal games i've played but can't remember but since i beat this one recently its:Ninja Gaiden(XBOX) because you hack for straight hours.You can take a giant wooden oar knock a monsters head off(LOTSA BLOOD)in mid-air and grab its corpse and slam it into to the ground head first(or where the head would be)
