I'm going the other way.When I first read the topic "most brutal game", I was thinking in terms of difficulty.Seriously, some of those old school games were just ridiculous. The only people I can imagine beating Super Ghouls and Ghosts on the hardest difficulty with no lives are the testers, and even then it's a MAYBE.Rare liked making ridiculously difficult games on the N64 - ridiculous to complete, at least. Did anyone here ever witness the pain of Platinum medals on Blast Corps?Opening up all the cheats in Goldeneye?I've played some damn brutal ones. and as for violence, I think anything with intestines pretty much makes the cut. which qualfies soldier of fortune, manhunt, and doom 3, instantly.

Try Syndicate and the sequal Syndicate Wars.In the first one you had a mission to go into a crowd where a politician who wouldn't cooperate was giving a speach. Instead of hurt him you had to leave him untouched and kill his wife, then deal with the military security forces and get out.For Syndicate Wars three simple words. Atomic Hand Grenade.

I would have to say Manhunt. I haven't seen many brutal games, but Manhunt is #1 for the brutal games I have seen. I love that game.

i never played manhunt so i'll say soldier of fortune 2 cuz you can shoot someone's head and it'll go off with blood coming out like if it was a water hose pretty much violent

Manhunt is not really brutal.I showed my 8 year old cousin that game and after 3-4 hours,he was likemeh,boooooooring game.my vote goes to gta san andreas,once i spent 5{real time}minutes stabbing a guy with the chainsaw

it's gotta be man hunt.. it was banned in numerous countiresIt was way over hte top gore like you get like a hammer and half the head falls off if you hit their head ith the hammer

I've tried God of war, and it's pretty brutal.Carmageddon was fun too.another game which has some brutal, or at least gory elements is Clive Barkers undying. the brutal bit would be when you die and the monsters play around with your corpse, ripping your head off and stuff like that.Doom 3 is pretty brutal too, nothing like cuttign up zombies with a chainsaw

silent hill 2, one time the nurses did this thing where they stuck a..., oh never mind.
also, get the new gbasp with backlight, it's the best gameboy ever.

This one game, I think it was like, "Carmegeddon three" or something along those lines. I'm not too sure, but it was the sickest piece of trash I've ever seen. Seeing people exploding and their bloodly limbs and organs flying all over was the norm. I only saw previews for it, but, needless to say, I hope to god it never taints the shelf of any admirible game store near me.After that, I would have to say the screaming innocents being mowed down by a chain gun in Grand Theft Auto would come into a close place.

Pokemon. It was both violent from watching all those animals slaughtering each other like slaves of their owners and it was also very brutal and painful to play as a game. I didn't play any video game for a week after that experience.
