Depends on the game. If you think of something like Super Smash Bros on the N64, its a fairly short game, yet its unlockables and multiplayer extend its life massively! Also, how about Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64)? Basically, if a game is fun and offers rewards for replay value, then it doesnt matter that its short start to finish!

most games should be long, keep you occupied and what not. but there's some exceptions...like fighting, puzzle, and racing games. but those you gotta have someone else to play against haha, otherwise ya, those get boring fast...that's why im mainly an rpg type of player :wtf: i like almost anything made by squaresoft, their stuff is good.

I don't really care if it's short or long. As long as it's fun, I'm happy.

Short games are ok when the really fun, but if it's a very boring game and it's short then i don't like it.

I love games that are long, and fun to play over and over again. I play fire emblem a lot still, and I've had it for years

It depends. If the game is short but it has a high replay value, I don't really mind. But games like fma dual sympathy (yes, it somewhat has a replay value, but it's too boring) which can be finished in roughly 2 hours, well, those games suck. But sometimes I prefer a really good short game over a long boring game. But the best is, of course, a combination of those two. No, not short and boring, but long and really good (please don't think too hard on that one)

Hmm... Depends on how short you mean. I hated that I beat Wario Ware: Touched in a day, but it really only bothers me with other games when the game makes you WANT more.

aye, but even worse are the ones where u gotta grind on stuff for pointless hours just to move on... like the games that require you to get certain items that dont come 100%

Personally, I love short games, especially because they all have some sort of replay value. I've bought Elite Beat Agents when it came out, and I haven't taken it out of my DS since. :smile1:
